Being in Chicago for Fall was one of my absolute favorites. I loved the changing leaves, the deep hues and of course being in great company of friends. I’m finally breaking away from my basic looks and trying something new (although aint nothin' wrong with being basic).

I love playing with textures which is why I paired this suede waistcoat with my DIY frayed denim. This suede waistcoat is a phenomenal transition piece and its natural, nude color honestly can work with any outfit. Always remember, when wearing neutrals, adding different textures and prints add dimension and interest. Here, I added a little tie-neck blouse for a feminine touch while remaining on trend.
