Dress Shirt to Shirt Dress

I am a big fan of any piece of clothing that it easy to just throw on and go. The beauty of this blog post is that it touches a topic very near and dear to every woman - creating the illusion that her wardrobe can churn out new and original ensembles (am I right, ladies?).

Enter the oxford. Oxfords are just as easy to wear as your basic tees. As a matter of fact, I often find myself reaching out for my favorite BDG oxford (a total hand-me-down from the sis) when I need a go-to outfit. Oxfords are also perfect for the workplace (surprise, surprise!). Not only is the oxford such an effortless piece, but it's so comfortable!

My favorite way to wear my oxford is by cuffing the sleeves and rolling them up. The look feels much more relaxed and easy. Whether you want to dress up or dress down your oxford, the best thing to do is pair it with your favorite pieces to achieve a particular look. For example, throw it on over a striped maxi skirt, or half-tuck it in your favorite Spring-hued chinos. Going for a nighttime look? Pair it with your favorite leather skinnies or skirt, and throw on your classic black pumps. The possibilities are endless! Then when you've really become a pro, we can start getting into printed oxfords.
