Peace, Love, and Fringe

Happy Sunday, love bugs!

I hope you all had a fabulous Eid weekend filled with loads of prayers and delicious treats! For those who aren't familiar, Eid-ul-Fitr is an annual Muslim festival marking the end of Ramadan, involving the exchange of gifts and festive meals.

My Eid day outfit garnered so many compliments - probably the most on any outfit I've ever worn (real talk), so I decided that it deserved it's own blog post.

This dress exudes an effortless, chic look combining both Eastern and Western elements of style. The fringe added the perfect amount of dimension to the entire look and my favorite touch is the silver and gold embroidered border that goes up the sleeves and around the back. Typically, these borders are sown on to the bottoms or sides of an outfit, so this detail was definitely eye-catching. Lastly, the pictures definitely don't do justice to the material, but the chiffon fabric was made with an ever so light sheen that was just out of this world! Imagine wearing your favorite highlighter used for your face.

Judging by the outpour of compliments and detail inquiries I received on Instagram, I wanted to share the designer's information: Madiha's Atelier (Pret & Couture)
